The present results demonstrated that curcumin at 15–25 μM dose-dependently suppressed the proliferation of FTC133. Combined treatment (curcumin (25 μM) and sorafenib (2 μM)) resulted in a reduction in cell colony formation and significantly decreased the invasion and migration of FTC133 cells compared with that treated with individual drugs. Western blot showed that the levels of p-ERK and p-Akt proteins were significantly reduced (p","mimetype":"text/plain","lang":"en"}],"refs":[],"contribs":[{"index":0,"raw_name":"Junjia Zhang","role":"author"},{"index":1,"raw_name":"Jichun Yu","role":"author"},{"index":2,"raw_name":"Rong Xie","given_name":"Rong","surname":"Xie","role":"author"},{"index":3,"raw_name":"Wanzhi Chen","role":"author"},{"index":4,"raw_name":"Yunxia Lv","role":"author"}],"license_slug":"CC-BY","publisher":"Figshare","ext_ids":{"doi":"10.6084/m9.figshare.3545435"},"release_year":2016,"release_date":"2016-08-07","release_stage":"published","release_type":"article-journal","webcaptures":[],"filesets":[],"files":[{"release_ids":["s2kv7pqobzgtzdhiuaulowyyd4"],"mimetype":"application/pdf","urls":[{"url":"https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/pstorage-tf-iopjsd8797887/5610065/gnpl_a_1074229_sm1687.pdf","rel":"publisher"},{"url":"https://web.archive.org/web/20200216091039/https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/pstorage-tf-iopjsd8797887/5610065/gnpl_a_1074229_sm1687.pdf","rel":"webarchive"}],"sha256":"d448baf7bb5e531c47f36f62163efb42fbad88ce77fcd4ad3152d5e551253819","sha1":"7f95ac4875b0ff3de66c99e95d721487b9bde4f8","md5":"77698611fd9feee8c53e5e08058438f8","size":193001,"revision":"85c236ad-ddc3-4429-8f68-3752fe290807","ident":"mke35hd33nc6titeocyv6l6afy","state":"active"}],"work_id":"bilrvlkgf5an3dslxvexdz4vfq","title":"Combinatorial anticancer effects of curcumin and sorafenib towards thyroid cancer cells via PI3K/Akt and ERK pathways","state":"active","ident":"s2kv7pqobzgtzdhiuaulowyyd4","revision":"a1258ffd-f393-4f34-9d3e-20d5010f22aa","extra":{"datacite":{"license":[{"rights":"CC-BY","rightsUri":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us"}],"relations":[{"relatedIdentifier":"10.1080/14786419.2015.1074229","relatedIdentifierType":"DOI","relationType":"IsSupplementTo"}],"resourceType":"Paper","resourceTypeGeneral":"Text","subjects":[{"subject":"Biophysics"},{"subject":"Biochemistry"},{"subject":"Medicine"},{"subject":"Cell Biology"},{"subject":"Genetics"},{"subject":"Molecular Biology"},{"subject":"Pharmacology"},{"schemeUri":"http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/0/6BB427AB9696C225CA2574180004463E","subject":"39999 Chemical Sciences not elsewhere classified","subjectScheme":"FOR"},{"subject":"Cancer"},{"subject":"Infectious Diseases"}]},"release_month":8}}
